12.23.09: In case you haven't seen it already, Megan is appearing in a new I Can't Believe It's Not Butter! commercial; there is also a hilarious article featuring behind-the-scenes videos here: The Most Insane Celebrity Endorsment Ever.
11.12.09: Happy 51st Birthday Megan!!! :D :D :D
In honour of Megan's birthday (and because the previous layout was called "Fabulous at 50"), I've made a new layout featuring a promo shot from when Megan hosted Saturday Night Live; this version is appropriately named "Cutie", because really, Megan is a cutie.
11.04.09: Megan's episode of Parks and Recreation will be airing tomorrow, Nov. 5th at 8:30pm on NBC; you can watch a clip of Megan and her husband (P&R star Nick Offerman) discussing her role here.
Also, awesome news(from NewKerala.com): Megan Mullally Bringing Will and Grace Character To Stage
Actress MEGAN MULLALLY is reviving her character from hit TV comedy WILL and GRACE for a new stage musical.
The comedienne starred as bored housewife Karen Walker in the show, which ended in 2006.
But she's breathing new life into the role and adapting it for the theatre in Karen: The Musical.
She tells the Los Angeles Times, 'The main thing is Karen is such a great character, and people really want to see her again.'
Mullally will be joined on stage by her former TV co-star Leslie Jordan, who played her onscreen rival Beverley Leslie.
10.29.09: Sorry for the confussion guys, Megan's episode of NBC's Parks and Recreation won't air until November, I'll post the date here when I know it.
10.11.09: Great Megan news to announce: Megan will be guest-starring on the October 29th episode of NBC's Parks and Recreation. She'll be playing the ex-wife of Amy Poehler's character's boss. And who plays the boss? Megan real-life husband, Nick Offerman! :D
In other news, UPI.com has an adorable interview with Bill Harder where he tells the story of how Megan essentially got him his career: Hader: Megan Mullally gave me a career.
And finally, in actual site updates, I've added 1 Fan.
09.28.09: The Divine Ms. M has reached 1000 members (actually, a little over 1000 members)!!! Because of this milestone, we've recieved the 1000 Members Award from TheFanlistings.org, which you can see on the Fanlisting Awards Won page.
09.23.09: Megan was involved in a car wreck on September 16th, but don't worry, she's fine (except for a sprained wrist)! :) Here's the story, courtesy of E!Online UK: Megan Mullally, you're a real trouper.
The Emmy-owning Will & Grace star is soldiering on with her show-biz duties even after suffering minor injuries last week in a car crash.
Per the Beverly Hills cops, the collision occurred at about noon Sept. 16, when Mullally's vehicle struck another car. Investigators are still trying to piece together what happened and no citations have been issued.
"The two parties involved in the accident were solo. There were no passengers in either vehicle," Lt. Tony Lee told E! News.
"It was nothing dramatic. Just a complaint of pain injury," Lee said, adding that paramedics treated both parties at the scene for minor dings—their rides weren't so lucky. "The vehicles were actually towed...[with] moderate damage."
The smash-up however caused the 50-year-old funnylady to bow out of her L.A. play, The Receptionist, last Thursday and Friday. Mullally was back onstage Saturday with a brace on her wrist. Tonight, she's due on the red carpet for the premiere of her new film, a big-screen remake of Fame.
In other news, you can see Megan talking about her new movie Fame here (you'll have to scroll down a bit, her video is the second one on the page): Fame interviews with the adults … Kelsey Grammer, Megan Mullally, Bebe Neuwirth and Debbie Allen. I'll add it to the videos page once it's been uploaded to YouTube.
09.07.09: Added 1 Fan. Also, Megan has joined the cast of "Party Down". Reuters reports: Emmy winner Megan Mullally has joined the Starz comedy series "Party Down."
On the show about a Los Angeles catering team, she will play Lydia Dunfree, a middle-aged refugee from a lousy marriage who leaves small-town life to move to Hollywood, where her 13-year-old daughter, Escapade, hopes to make it as an actress.
"Party Down" has been looking to fill the void left by the departure of Jane Lynch, who co-stars on Fox's new series "Glee." Production on the second season of "Party Down" begins in mid-September.
Megan is currently appearing onstage at The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in The Receptionist. The play's run has recently been extended through November 21st.
08.15.09: Added 1 video, Megan as Cindy in Batman: The Animated Series.
08.06.09: Added 1 Fan.
07.13.09: Added 1 Fan.
06.20.09: Added 2 Fans; also, the full trailer for Megan's new movie Fame is now online, Megan appears at the very beginning.
05.25.09: Added 1 Fan.
05.17.09: Added 1 Affiliate, Red Sparks: The Debra Messing Fanlisting, and 1 Fan.
05.12.09: The new site is up! :D It took me forever, but I had to move my old Megan FL from Geocities.com to Webs.com because Geocities is unfortunately closing down and deleting all their websites (so if you have a Geocities website, move it quickly before it disappears!).
On the upside, this gave me to chance to take a look at every page of the FL and update/change/delete as necessary. First up, the pictures page is gone because it was taking up too much room. If you're craving Megan pics, head over to our sister site Megan-Online for an exstensive gallery of Megan images.
Other updates:
- I've changed the join, edit, and Caption Contest forms. The old ones were apparently not working anymore, so if you've recently joined the FL/edited your info/submitted a caption, please re-submit as I may not have recieved it.
- I've redone all the codes to include more current Megan images.
- The Megan TV & Movie Quiz is now 20 questions long and features almost entirely new images.
- I've added a TON of new videos, including some old footage of Megan from her days on Broadway in Grease and her early role in The Ellen Burnstyn Show. Also, the videos now open in a new window (as the current layout is too small to view them in).
- I've added a few quotes from Megan and one quote about Megan from the hilarious Bill Hader, whom Megan discovered and brought to Lorne Michaels' attention, thus landing Bill a role on Saturday Night Live.
- I've redone all the wallpapers.
- I've changed the Caption Contest title (it was originally Caption Karen! and later, Caption Karen or Rosemary!); now I can use any image of Megan for the contest picture. Be sure to check out our current contest and submit your own witty caption!
- I've moved my Megan encounter story to this FL as well, since it too was originally hosted on Geocities. I've also tried to clean up the pictures; the originals are not nearly as red as the scans I posted.
- I've updated the about, biography, and filmography pages.
And of course, as you've no doubt noticed, I've updated the layout to version 33: Fabulous At 50; this is not only because of the move to Webs.com, but because the previous layout (Hot Mama) centred around Megan's new show In The Motherhood which has since been cancelled. :(
But hey, Megan's new movie Fame opens this September! You can see the teaser trailer here; Megan appears very briefly at the beginning (she's sitting between two other teachers watching a student on stage). You can also see two pictures of her on her page under Meet The Cast.
